The Plustek OpticFilm 8100 is a dedicated film scanner with 7200 dpi optical resolution. Its light sources give images more precise color rendering with less power consumption. Please Note (Mac Users): The scanner's front buttons require a Plustek proprietary driver to launch shortcuts for IntelliScan & QuickScan software. This driver is not available for Mac OS as no driver is needed to use the scanner other than Silverfast Software. The physical shortcut buttons will not be operational if you use an Apple computer.
