Skin-tone reproduction has been improved to provide a more natural look, eliminating the magenta cast often found when printing portraits. The Canon ChromaLife100+ Dye Ink System expands the color gamut with improved color reproduction of darker colors.
The three Monochrome inks consist of Photo Black, Gray, and Light Gray. As part of the Ink System, the three monochrome inks also allow you to reproduce smooth, delicate, and natural tonal gradations in grayscale and color imagery accordingly from highlights to shadows.
