Unlike fixed optical AA filters which always creates an identical result, this innovative simulator allows the user to adjust the level of the moiré-reduction effect from OFF, Type1 and Type2. High-refractive index, low dispersion glass and aspherical high-precision moulded glass lenses have been optimally placed in the lens construction to suppress distortion and chromatic aberration to the absolute limit, delivering a high level of sharpness. This results in images that are sharp and clear across the entire frame even from the widest aperture setting. An internal two stop-effective (ND 0.6) filter is also available for either slowing the shutter speed or permitting working with a wider aperture setting, and the lens has a nine-blade diaphragm to contribute to a smooth bokeh quality.
