Sharon grew up in Canada and has been creating pictures for as long as she can remember. Her first love was painting, but a school project to make a pinhole camera out of a shoebox sparked a lifelong fascination with photography.

After 17 years living in London and New Zealand Sharon now calls Melbourne home, where she shoots commercial and editorial photography with a strong focus on people.

She's co-founder of photography company Image Workshop where she collaborates with partner- in-crime Brence Coghill making compelling visual content for brands and businesses to create experiences and tell their story. Her clients include Toyota Australia, VISA, Beats By Dr Dre, The University of Melbourne, and more.

Her superpower is connecting with people to craft authentic-yet-targeted imagery showcasing the awesomeness of who they are and what they do.

She's also adept at Macgyver-ing creative image concepts using everyday household ingredients ' what she calls 'lo-fi ingenuity'.

Recent awards include Silver (Advertising) at the 2018 Prix de la Photographie Paris, and 6th Place (Portrait) in the 2017 Australian Photography Awards. Her Hong Kong Neon series has been featured by Wired, Creative Boom, MyModernMet and Fubiz.

Sharon also has a love of retro sci-fi and a weakness for grilled cheese sandwiches.
