The Aputure Barndoor for COB120/ 120II/300 fit all versions of these Aputure LED lights. The 4-way design allows for one to four of the leaves to be swung into the light's beam to illuminate areas that you want while keeping light from areas where you don't want it.

The Aputure Barndoors are the optimal solution for shaping your COB light and preventing light spill. Designed specifically for the 120 series and 300d, the Aputure Barndoors feature four velvet leaves, a newly designed negative reflector dish, and a high quality gel holder.

Velvet Fabric

The Aputure Barndoors are made of four leaves, each with an internal black velvet fabric to maximize light absorption, allowing for virtually no light leak. Though maximum light control will be achieved with the included black reflector dish, the 4 leaves can be mounted onto the standard Aputure Silver Reflector Dish or the Aputure Fresnel as well.

Gel Holder

The Aputure Barndoors also include a magnetic gel holder that allows filmmakers to easily add color to their lights.

Caution

When using color gels with powerful LED lights, such as the Aputure C300D, the heat will cause the filter gels to distort or burnt after a period of time. You are advised to change new sheets of color filters once every three hours during constant usage.

Honeycomb

The included 30 degrees honeycomb grid allows filmmakers to further maximize control as needed.

Black Reflector Dish

The Barndoors use a snap-in mounting structure, which makes installation and disassembly quick and convenient. In addition to special adapter rings, they can also be fit on the front of a standard 7 inch reflector, Fresnel and other compatible accessories.

Aircraft Aluminum Design

The four leaves of the Barndoors are made of smooth finish aluminum to ensure a strong, sleek build that is lightweight and easy to open & close, but remain incredibly durable.
