The Sony HDR-XR350V offers unique Hybrid Technology – Record video to 160GB Hard Disk Drive, Memory Stick or SD Card!


Hybrid Technology gives you the best of both worlds! Record High Definition 1920 x 1080 video direct to the internal 160GB Hard Disk Drive or to an optional Memory Stick or SD Card. Using HD Long Play (1440x1080) you can record over 67 hours of HD footage before needing to export to external storage.

Exmor R CMOS Sensor provides exceptional low‐light performance
Experience stunning low‐light sensitivity with improved image clarity and drastically reduced grain with the backilluminated "Exmor R" sensor. Designed for compact cameras and camcorders, the "Exmor R" sensor relocates the photo diodes above the support circuitry, maximizing the light gathering area per pixel so you can shoot with better results in lower lighting conditions.

Built‐in GPS Tagging with Touch Screen control
This Handycam features a built‐in GPS receiver that allows you to use the touch screen to view your current location on the LCD map display, as well as "tag" your shooting locations. You can view your tagged videos and pictures via the Map Index function or once you've downloaded them to your PC using the supplied Picture Motion Browser (PMB) software.

Optical Active SteadyShot with 3‐way Shake Cancelling‐ 10x more shake correction
Optical Steadyshot (Active Mode) provides powerful shake correction at wide angles, ideal for active shooters. This technology has now been further developed to provide effective control of camera roll also. Combined with this wide angle correction mechanism, providing 10x the range of movement available in conventional mechanisms, Optical Active SteadyShot now features 2x more correction ability in Tele‐mode as well.
