With its "Exmor R" CMOS sensor, the Sony HDR-CX700V Handycam Camcorder delivers superior low-light capabilities. Enhanced manual controls and 50p, 25p recording options provide the precision you need for shooting professional-quality HD videos. CinemaTone technology lets you capture stunning videos with deeper, more film-like color tones. The wide angle Sony G Lens lets you capture more of the action with sharp images and brilliant, accurate colors.

Also equipped with 96GB embedded Flash memory, you can record and store up to 40 hours of high-definition video footage (HD LP mode). A vibrant 3.0" touch-screen display lets you compose and view your shots while a built-in GPS receiver gives you the ability to view your current location on the LCD map display, as well as "tag" your shooting locations. Additionally, the Sony HDR-CX 700V provides advanced capture and control features including expanded focus for precise manual focus control, zebra and peaking for precision focus and exposure adjustments.

Exmor R CMOS Sensor provides exceptional low-light performance
Experience stunning low -light sensitivity with improved image clarity and drastically reduced grain with the back-illuminated "Exmor R" sensor. Designed for compact cameras and camcorders, the "Exmor R" sensor relocates the photo diodes above the support circuitry, maximizing the light gathering area per pixel so you can shoot with better results in lower lighting conditions.

The 3.0" Wide(16:9) XtraFine LCD screen displays sharp, bright, vivid images, letting you compose a shot more easily --even outdoors, while enabling you to change settings to best represent the scene. With 921K pixels resolution and a wide viewing angle, the 3.0" XtraFineLCD screen is nothing short of amazing.

Built-in GPS Tagging with Touch Screen control
This Handycamfeatures a built-in GPS receiver that allows you to use the touch screen to view your current location on the LCD map display, as well as "tag" your shooting locations. You can view your tagged videos and pictures via the Map Index function or once you've downloaded them to your PC using the built-in Picture Motion Browser (PMB) software.
