The Sony DCR-SX65 Handycam Camcorder provides 720p high-definition video capture, as well as HD still image capture. Also, the Sony DCR-SX 65 features an LED light that can assist in low-light situations giving you more flexibility when capturing your video


The ultra-compact Sony DCR-SX65 Handycam Camcorder includes 4GB of internal flash memory. The Sony DCR-SX 65 features a high-quality Carl Zeiss lens with powerful zoom range to bring distant objects closer.

Small in size, big on features, the ultra-compact Sony DCR-SX65 Handycam Camcorder features 4GB of embedded flash memory, which can record up to six hours of video as well as a professional-quality Carl Zeiss® Vario-Tessar® lens, which delivers sharp, high-resolution images. A powerful 70x extended zoom lets you capture extremely tight shots, even from far away while built-in LED video light makes it easier to capture low-light situations.

4GB Built-in Flash Memory
You now have the choice of recording high quality video to the internal 4GB flash memory, Memory Stick or SD card. Over 2 hoursof footage can be stored on the camera’s 4GB internal memory, or you can choose to record direct to an optional Memory Stick or SD card. Movies recorded onto internal flash memory can even be copied to removable media for easy file transfer.

70x Extended Zoom
The DCRSX65 features a high-magnification 70x Extended zoom lens. Now you can shoot faraway subjects such as buildings and bridges that are difficult to capture with conventional lenses. Using Extended zoom allows you to get much closer to your shooting subject, without sacrificing overall image quality.

3.0” WIDE LCD Touch Screen
The large 3.0” Touch Screen interface makes using this Handycam a simple and enjoyable experience. Powerful features such as Spot Focus and Spot Metering allow you to adjust the focal and exposure points of your scene at the touch of a fingertip.

Built-in USB Cable/ USB Charge
The DCRSX65 features a built-in USB Cable in the camera grip, allowing easy connection to a computer to backup your footage. The built-in USB Cable also allows you to charge the camera via USB. 1 hour USB charge time will provide around 30 minutes of shooting time on the standard included battery.

Built-in LED Video Light
Thanks to a built-in LED video light, you can now shed some light on your subject and record clearer, more colourful videos and pictures, even in low light conditions

Transfer files direct to external HDD/ USB drive with Direct Copy
Store your memories in a whole new way with the ability to copy videos from your camcorder directly to an external hard disk drive or USB Microvault (sold separately), all without a computer.
