Sharper Image, Wider FOV
In many sports situations a wider field of view can enhancethe ‘Point-of-view’ experience by including elements of the rider. For instance skis, handlebars of a mountain biker, peripheral view in surfing, etc.

Streaming Video Through HDMI
Streaming video can be used to ‘check the shot’ on a field monitor, record to an external video recorder, or connect to a video transmitter to remotely record or share live Point-of-View video.

High Performance GPS Receiver
Fast moving sports such as motor racing can benefit from recording positioning data at a higher frequency, resulting in smoother mapping and more accurate tracking of changes in speed.

External Microphone Jack
In some situations users want to connect a microphone matched to their usage scenario. For instance a motorcyclist can connect a microphone placed in their helmet to record a voice commentary, or place a microphone where it can capture engine and road noise.

Flush-Front Lens
Lens protector is less likely to capture and retain dirt, snow, or mire. Lens protector is easier to wipe clean. Camera can be mounted in more locations.

270 degree on-axis smooth lens rotation
Camera can now be mounted upside down.Lens orientation can be more finely tuned to ensure the shot is level regardless of the camera’s mounting angle to the horizon.

Configurable White Balance
Achieve realistic color automatically in a range of lighting situations both indoors and outside; or take control and set the color temperature for your unique lighting situation.

Rear Door HDMI and USB
HDMI can be streamed and a USB connection can be achieved while the camera is in use with rear door closed. This allows the Contour+ to be used with third party video transmitters or continuously powered in vehicles while retaining its weatherproof features.

Fast Change Battery
A spring loaded flip lever holds the removable battery firmly in place, yet allows for quick battery removal. Batteries can easily be changed ‘on the fly’ while in the field.

Playback of Full Display HD
Watch your videos while they’re still on the camera. Share your awesome moments on a large HD screen directly from your camera, without the need to connect to a computer.
