The depictive performance of the Ricoh Caplio GR Digital II will satisfy the most demanding professional photographers, and many professional features are distilled into a compact 25-mm thin body. With a high-quality feel and superb expandability, this is the perfect tool for both professional photographers and advanced amateurs.

When planning the GR Digital, Ricoh's engineers began by identifying the elements needed to provide the high picture quality demanded by discerning photographers. After extensive tests and research, Ricoh placed special emphasis on resolution, noise level, color aberration correction, color reproduction, tone, and distortion characteristics. In order to achieve extremely high levels in each of these areas, Ricoh gave the GR Digital a CCD with 8, 130, 000 effective pixels.

You're sure to impress your friends and family with the new GR DIGITAL compact digital camera from Ricoh, thanks to its stylish design and user-friendly functions! Including a CCD sensor with 8 effective megapixels, a 4x digital zoom and the GR Engine system, the GR DIGITAL takes true-to-life shots, whatever the situation. It has a 2.5inch LCD screen (210,000 pixels) for enhanced visual comfort when you're previewing and editing your photos.

The GR DIGITAL pack includes an external 4x digital zoom, an accessories mount, a 28mm sun shield, a leather case, a neck strap and a wide-angle conversion lens, which extends the viewing angle to up to 21mm without compromising on the camera's optical performance. The built-in GR Digital electronic sensor detects the settings of the GW-1 lens and adjusts the automatic focus accordingly.
