The Leica DG Macro-Elmarit 45mm F2.8 ASPH. MEGA O.I.S. Lens has a built-in image stabilizer. The lens allows you to capture your subjects in their actual size

The Leica 45mm F2.8 ASPH. MEGA O.I.S. Lens offers superb image quality with minimum distortion, chromatic aberration, and ghosts and flare, in keeping with stringent Leica standards. It is also great as a medium-length telephoto lens for portraits, snapshots and landscapes.

It features an aspherical lens and an ED lens for superb optical performance, and an inner focus system of three floating structure groups which enable excellent resolution and contrast without changing its overall length, from full life-size magnification to infinity.

The closest focusing distance can be instantly changed to 15cm or 50cm (0.5ft to 1.64ft) by a switch located on the lens barrel. And Panasonic's advanced hand-shake correction technology MEGA O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer) ensures crisp hand-held photographs.
