Get ready for an adventure in any environment with the new Pentax Optio WG-1 GPS – the next generation in outdoor cameras that’s tougher, smarter and more weatherproof than ever before.

A new version designed in response to strong demand by outdoor enthusiasts. The Pentax Optio WG-1 features a high-quality brilliant silver finish with an aluminium-alloy front panel to give the camera a vibrant, glossy appearance.

Waterproof to 10m, shockproof to 1.5m, coldproof to -10°C, crushproof to 100kg as well as dustproof, it has everything an outdoor photographer could want. GPS functionality allows for positional data recording with images for geo-tagging applications.

The Optio WG-1 has an enhanced Digital Microscope mode that offers five macro LEDs for excellent macro lighting plus a detachable macro stand for steadier capture. It features a large 2.7” Wide angle LCD with anti-reflective coating.

Designed with mountaineering in mind, the new Optio includes a woven web fabric strap complete with a carabineer to attach the camera to a backpack or other outdoor gear.
