Sharp pricing for the Canon 60D Kits Mr. DigiDirect | Tuesday, September 14, 2010No comments

Canon has revised the semi-pro 60D into a more consumer-friendly camera by making the 60D significantly lighter than the 50D, adding a flip screen and packing it full of the latest specs including a Canon APS-C 18.0 megapixel CMOS sensor, 5.3fps, 100-6,400 ISO (expandable to 12,800), DIGIC 4 processor, 1080p video with in-camera editing, SDXC storage capacity, and in-camera RAW processing.

A re-designed multi-control dial helps amateur shooters to achieve better photography by providing easy “ambiance” modes like: standard, vivid, soft, warm, intense, cool, brighter, darker, and monochrome and a variety of in-camera creative filters found in point and shoot cameras.

The Canon EOS 60D SLR camera captures high-quality digital pictre files and for superior results, photographers can enjoy more control over in-camera image processing resulting in less time editing and more time taking pictures. Due to the popularity of Full HD video recording with other current EOS Digital SLRs has led to customer requests for more advanced features such as manual audio level control and flexible LCD screens to make shooting video easier.

Canon has delivered all of these features and more with the new Canon EOS 60D Digital SLR Camera. For the first time on an EOS DSLR camera, the Canon EOS 60D includes a three-inch Vari-Angle Clear View LCD screen, EOS Full HD video recording with manual overrides including audio level control!

The Canon EOS 60D Digital SLR camera is scheduled to be delivered to digiDIRECT towards the end of September, and will be sold in a body-only configuration at $1399.00 It will also be offered in a kit version with Canon’s EF-S 18-135mm IS zoom lens at $1,949.00. The Canon BG-E9 battery grip to suit the EOS 60D will also be available towards the end of September and sell at an estimated retail price of $299.00.
