Canon’s CMOS technology offers noise reduction circuitry at each pixel site delivering virtually noise-free images, as the signal conversion in Canon’s CMOS sensors is handled by individual amplifiers at each pixel site.

The Canon EOS 500D movie recording includes full HD Movie capture which will allow you to capture every detail of a wedding, a day out with friends or your baby’s first steps by shooting in stunning Full HD (1080P).

You can connect your 550D simply connect via HDMI to any HDTV to watch outstanding, true-to-life HD images. The Canon EOS 500D offers a choice of 720P and VGA resolutions, allowing you to shoot and store longer movies on your memory card without sacrificing memory card space.

The Canon EOS 500D includes a high resolution 3.0" ClearView LCD screen enabling detailed checks on stills and video capture in playback mode.

It also enables shooting from awkward angles using the real-time Live View mode.

Image data captured by the CMOS sensor is processed by Canon’s purpose-built DIGIC image processors before being written to the camera's SDHC memory card.

Canon DIGIC technology uses advanced image processing algorithms to ensure precise, natural colours, accurate white balance in all lighting situations, and advanced noise reduction to deliver crisp, detailed images whilst keeping power consumption to a minimum.

The Canon EF-S 18-200mm f3.5-5.6 IS Lens is a Compact, ultra zoom lens with a powerful zoom range of 11x - making it  an ideal general-purpose zoom for photographers on the go.
